As lawmakers in Austin debate over solar technology and possible renewable energy credits, one Texas power delivery company is offering its own solar rebates. Oncor plans to offer a rebate to homeowners and businesses across the state that install solar technology.

The rebates equates to about $2.46 for ever watt of solar power installed. The company wants to help pay for 1400 installations. Oncor set aside about $16-million to pay the rebates over the next four years.
