Yedidiyah Back in Court

By: Tim Johnston
Updated: February 17, 2009
Yedidiyah Hawkins will be back in court tomorrow in Baird.

The House of Yahweh member will be back, this time with, Quanah Parker, who took over Hawkin's case back in January.

According to records filed with the Callahan County District Clerk, Parker and Hawkins will make a motion for a new trial claiming at a previous trail Hawkins felt intimidated by people in attendance and that kept him from testifying.

As well as ineffective counsel from his previous defense.

Hawkins, as you may remember, was sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexual assault of a child.
