APD: Busted with a Shotgun

On Wednesday, at about 10:25 P.M., Officer Ohnheiser stopped a vehicle in the 1100 block of Lillius. During the investigation, the suspect, a 22 year old white male, was found to be in possession of a prohibited weapon (short barrel shotgun). The suspect was arrested for Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
Later, at about 11:45 P.M., Officer Holmes responded to a check welfare call in the 2600 block of East Highway 80. Officer Holmes contacted a 33 year old white male who was passed out in a parked vehicle. The subject was intoxicated and a danger to himself and was arrested for Public Intoxication.
