Oscar Fashion: Hits and Misses

Winners at last night's Oscars weren't just the people who took home statuettes. There were fashion winners too, as well as fashions that came up a little short, according to Entertainment Weekly's Lisa Robinson. Here's her take on everyone's choices.Definitely this year, everybody looked really pretty. We saw a lot of color as opposed to a lot of black.
We did have Diane Lane, who looked gorgeous in black, but I liked how everyone was very feminine and pretty and soft.
Heidi Klum looked gorgeous in a bright red, but I also thought Alicia Keys and Natalie Portman came up on stage and it wasn't bold. It was just a pretty color. But we still saw champagnes and off whites, so I don't think we're moving away, we
just added in some color this time around.
Hits this time around, definitely. I think some of the presenters upstaged the nominees. We didn't get to see them on the red carpet, but when Natalie Portman walked out, in that gorgeous pink dress, she looked stunning.
Halle Berry we didn't get to see on the red carpet. She always looks gorgeous. She never misses.
Taraji Henson in that strapless dress with her gorgeous smile, she lit up the room.
Penelope Cruz, she looked like a princess. She just was perfect in the strapless chiffon full skirt and very simple jewelry. She looked stunning.
Brad and Angelina. They're gorgeous. Do they ever do wrong? Angelina, she was subdued, she was low key. She wore a simple black dress. She never looks bad. She's always gorgeous. She didn't overdo it this year. She was very simple.
I would say Zac Effron and Vanessa Hudgens were like the young, hot couple that looked great together.
We did not have any crazy Bjork moments this year, but there were a couple of misses.
Whoopi Goldberg, I probably would have gone with a solid color instead of her leopard print.
And, Tilda Swinton, she tends to sleek, modern and simple, but that two toned, I don't know if that worked for her. That two toned, I've seen her look better.
Jessica Biel, she's drop dead gorgeous, she really can do no wrong, but that bow, maybe didn't fit her the best that we've seen her look.
I think we ended up having a lot of beautifully feminine looking women tonight.
