Back in March 2008, Jason Walker sent a letter to then president, George W. Bush, by U.S. mail.
In the letter, walker told the president that he needed then presidential candidate senator, Barack Obama to drop out of the race.
Walker also said in the letter, if Obama did not drop out, Walker threatened to assassinate the senator.
In a separate incident in August of 2008, Walker threatened to blow up federal buildings in San Angelo and in Ballenger, saying he would have his brothers put bombs at the 1st Community Federal Credit Union on North 8th in Ballenger, and at the O.C. Fisher Federal Building in San Angelo and the F.B.I. office also in San Angelo.
He went on to say that his brothers would break him out of jail so he could watch the destruction.
Walker is facing 85 years in federal prison.
