West Texas Today anchor Stephanie Harris had an unwelcomed guest on the show Monday morning; a very rattled rattlesnake, handled by Riley Sawyers.

The Rattlesnake Roundup begins March 12 with a parade in downtown Sweetwater at 4 p.m.  Miss Snake Charmer will be crowned at 7 p.m.  The first queen, crowned 50 years ago will serve as Grand Marshal for the parade.

The roundup, carnival, flea market, cook-off and more are expected to bring 30,000 visitors to Sweetwater.
