Bonham Vandal Released Until Trial

By: Maria Oliver
Updated: March 4, 2009
They vandalized Bonham Elementary's gym not once or twice, but several times and they are set for trial in just two weeks.

Meanwhile, one of the two juveniles has been released from the juvenile detention center.

The other remains in custody until his trial.

As you might recall, the teens vandalized the property inside the gym as well as setting fire to the gym back in December.

The two teens have been charged with arson, felony criminal mischief, attempted burglary of a building, and evading arrest.

Both will face a judge on march 18th and 19th for their trial, and depositions will be on the 25th and 26th of this month.

AISD has estimated it will cost nearly $200,000 to repair Bonham's gym.
