On the Range: Homemade Jelly and Afghans

Naoma Lake grew up with seven brothers and sisters on a farm in Oklahoma. Her grandmother was an expert at making jelly and jams from plums and pears that grew nearby.
Naoma loves making jelly and selling it in a small shop she owns with her daughter, Neva.
Her most requested flavors are grape, strawberry, and peach.
After making her jelly, Naoma enjoys decorating the jars for her customers and friends.
Naoma also loves to crochet afghans and other items from yarn.
Naoma learned to crochet from her mother-in-law in 1947, and still gets a lot of satisfaction from sitting at night and making things for family members and customers.
