*** There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms for this afternoon and evening for the areas east of U.S. 277. This threat is generally along and east of a line from Haskell to Sweetwater to San Angelo. Abilene is included in the threat area *** Today: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 7am. Some storms could be strong to severe in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. South southwest wind between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. South wind between 10 and 20 mph. Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. South southwest wind between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. South southwest wind between 10 and 15 mph becoming calm. Wednesday: A 40 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 46 by 5pm. North northeast wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to between 15 and 20 mph. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Wednesday Night: A 50 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a low around 35. Northeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 43. East northeast wind between 10 and 15 mph. Thursday Night: A 40 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a low around 37. East wind between 5 and 10 mph. Friday: A 40 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 42. East northeast wind between 5 and 10 mph. Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 49. Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 62.
