By: Maria Oliver
Updated: March 9, 2009
Starting this morning Abilene's local newspaper, the Reporter News, will increase its single copy price for its daily paper.

Single copy prices will increase by 25 cents to 75 cents.

Sunday's Reporter News will stay at a $1.50, and for those who receive the paper at home, the rate change will not affect you.

According to the paper, the cost of printing and ink has caused the price increase.
