The Real Housewives of New York, Orange County, and Atlanta don't even come close to the prestige of the Housewives of Taylor County. Our Southern belles are far from the selfish and backstabbing babes seen on Bravo.
However, the beauty, style, and status are part of their everyday county lives.
Meet Tonya Doby, Darla Cooper, and Donna Sewalt.
"We shop, we get massages, we go to lunch," exclaimed Tanya.
Their husbands all hold high-profile gigs allowing them to have plenty of girl time. You can bet they do what girls do best: primping, getting their manis and pedis...
"I feel really gross if I don't get my toes and my nails done," says Darla. "I just feel ugly, I guess."
"It's like keeping your hair done," explains Donna. "If your nails are looking bad, it makes you feel bad."
Having an empty nest clearly has its perks. While their hubbies are away at work, you can bet they each have a pampered pup to keep them company.
"I like to dress her in different things," Tonya says about her pooch. "We change her little collar out."
While dressing up Lucy the dog is fun, getting dressed up is one of the housewives favorite things to do.
Each of the ladies has an assortment of designer purses and a pair of pumps for every possible ocassion.
