Like a scene out of Alfred Hitchcock's thriller, The Birds, thousands of grackels flock to South 14th and Willis Street everyday. There are so many of these birds that they create huge clouds as they fly, and you better watch out because you could be a victim of things falling if you aren't careful.

Melissa Sturdivant, a Taylor County Horticulturist, said the grackels are from the area and are here to stay. They are native to this area and will not migrate unless there food supply diminishes.
