Fort Phantom Improvement Plans in Motion

By: Brittany Pelletz
Updated: March 12, 2009
Plans to redevelop the Lake Fort Phantom area were set in motion today when City Council approved the recommendations presented by planning and zoning.

Selling lake lots is the first part of the project.

Road construction, possible consolidation of energy sources, and park land use are all projects that will follow.

Some of the construction plans will require going back to City Council for new zoning ordinances.

The Lake Fort Phantom improvement efforts certainly won't happen overnight, but now that the plan was approved, some of the construction projects will soon be underway.
