Three employees working at Abuelos showed up for work one day and rose above and beyond their normal working duties to save the life of one Abilene man.
Walter Wheat, and his family sat down to dinner at Abuelos Mexican restaurant, when Walter stopped breathing.
Three employees, Jessica Shafer Grant, Courtney Henry, and Jeff Womble all participated in giving Walter Wheat CPR.
He suffered from an abdominal aortic aneurysm and doctors say without the Abuelos employees help, Walter wouldnt be alive today.
Walter and his wife Dorris Wheat not only look to these three Abuelos employees as heroes, but theyve also established great friendships through the experience.
