The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index AHIP Congressional Report studied areas by the nation's 435 congressional districts and 50 large cities, and found the Abilene area ranked number 72 on emotional health.
The 19th district ranked well in life evaluation and work quality, but low in healthy behavior and physicial health.
The study's purpose was to give policymakers a glimpse at America based on emotional health. It was based on about 350,000 surveys conducted last year.
