Governor Walker visits Green Bay to talk mining

It's the first time we've heard from him since he made the decision against challenging the recall signatures.

In addressing the fact that his campaign is not challenging the signatures, Governor Walker said today in Green Bay that he knew all along that there would be a recall election. But he wouldn't give an exact reason why he decided against challenging the signatures, or say if it was his plan all along.
 
Rather, Governor Walker says he's focusing on his campaign to create 250-thousand jobs in Wisconsin. The Governor says his number one opponent is out-of-state special interest money.

Says Governor Walker, "In the end, no matter who is ultimately nominated, what we'll be fighting against...our true opponent will be the big time money from out of state special interest groups."

When reminded that he also takes money from out of state, the Governor replied that he wouldn't have to recieve a penny of it if it weren't for the money coming in."

The purpose of the Governor's visit to Green Bay's Feeco International was to speak about the mining bill. He's not endorsing any of the proposals yet.
