Cooper Car Wash Helps Teach Responsibility

By: Brittany Pelletz
Updated: March 18, 2009
Splish Splash: the cars at Cooper are getting a bath.

Special needs students at Cooper are getting prepared to hold jobs in the community once they graduate by getting involved washing cars.

Sixty students participate in the car wash and everyone in the community is invited to get their cars washed.

It's a fun way for these students to learn responsibility.

Getting your car washed costs $5 for the inside and the outside, and Cooper students will be out there every warm day that the sun is shining from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
