Toner Pirates Try Scam

     It is a scam that has hit Abilene, and you and your business may be in danger to be another victim to this scheme.

    They call the scam, toner phoner, and complaints about this of scam includes misleading sales calls, unauthorized shipments and overpriced poor quality toner.

    Steve Abel, of the Better Business Bureau in Abilene, says the best way to keep this scam from hitting your business is keeping your employees aware of these types of schemes.

    Mark Spurlock, a Xerox Sales Agent, says a red flag of these scams is the fact that normally vendors will not solicit to businesses over the phone.
