Man Injured in North Abilene Shooting

 Around 8:15 Wednesday evening, emergency units were sent to the 1400 block of Fannin Street. Calls to 911 described a gunshot victim at a house there.

The actual shooting took place at North 16th and Green, but the victim was taken to the Fannin Street address, where police, fire and ambulance personnel located him.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment. His condition is not currently available at newstime. Officers were able to talk to the victim, who was able to identify a suspect.
