George W. Bush to Write Book

By: RNS
Updated: March 19, 2009
A book due out next year will detail President George W. Bush's eight years in the Oval Office.

The amount Bush will be paid for the book, tentatively called "Decision Points," is not being disclosed.

Washington lawyer Robert Barnett said the book will detail decisions made by Bush while serving as commander-in-chief ranging from Hurricane Katrina to Iraq to his family.

The memoir will be published by the Crown Publishing Group.

Barnett is no stranger to book deals.  He previously helped secure publications for President Obama, former President Clinton and former Bush aide Karl Rove.
