"He's vicious and I'll never go near him again," says 10 year old, Juno Chapman who was attacked by the neighbor's pitbull.

Juno used to love dogs but is now afraid of them. While playing outside with her friends, she was bit three times and had to get six stitches.

"Every day she'll call me and say mom is the dog still there," Toni Chapman comments on her daughters fear of the dog next door.

The kids used to love to play outside with their friends, but after the recent attack of a neighbors dog, they're afraid to play in their own backyard.

Toni Chapman says that even though a report was made, she feels like she's been given the run around.

"I'm extremely frustrated with the whole situation. I kind of feel like nothing was done, she's bit and oh well," Toni Chapman said.

Toni says that she is waiting to hear back from the Sheriff's Department to find out why nothing was done, and the dog is still next door after her daughter was attacked.

"I can see it every day, whether I'm doing dishes or cooking. I don't know. I just don't understand how it can still be there," Toni said.

The Taylor County Sheriff's Department declined to comment on the case until the officer handling it gets back into town.

Toni is now stuck with medical bills and still has a pitbull that attacked her daughter living right next door.
