Amber Alert Canceled; Father Arrested

 Wednesday 9:30 a.m. update:
Luis Gallegos has been located and the children are in custody.  The three were found at 4:10 p.m. inside a house in Nacodoches.


Tuesday 3 p.m. update:
Nacodoches police have sounded an Amber Alert for two children, Luis and Laiza Gallegos, 2 and 4 respectively.

Their father, Luis Antonio Gallegos, 22, is suspected of abducting the children at knifepoint.  Police say he left Nacodoches at 12 p.m. today and headed southbound in a blue car and is likely en route to Mexico.  The car was recovered abandoned in Nacogdoches County off of State Highway 21.

Gallegos, Sr. has tattoos on his chest, shoulder, arm, and a tattoo on his hand with the letters "LFG."

Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
