APD: Gunman Swipes Watch

On Tuesday, at about 10:35 P.M., agents of the Special Operations Division stopped a vehicle in the 1200 block of North 1st. During the investigation, a police K-9 alerted on the vehicle. The driver, a 49 year old white male, was found to be in possession of approximately 575 grams of methamphetamine. The suspect was arrested for Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Later, at about 12:30 this morning, Officer Perez was dispatched to a robbery call in the 1700 block of North 6th. The victim stated a white male suspect had taken a wristwatch from the victim at gunpoint. The suspect, a 27 year old white male, was located arrested for Aggravated Robbery and for an outstanding parole violation warrant.
