Abilene Housing Authority Stimulus Funds

By: Brittany Pelletz
Updated: March 25, 2009
More stimulus money on the way to Abilene that will help out the Abilene Housing Authority.

The AHA is expecting almost $400,000 from the stimulus funds and they've already got two projects lined up once the money is received.

One project is to repair a major sewer line at the Riviera Apartment Complex, and the other is the installation of handicap accessible and/or low-flow toilets at the four public housing locations.

Residents living where these construction projects are will be given temporary housing from the Abilene Housing Authority.
