Tonight we have a story on a Church that is doing exactly what Jesus instructed: helping the poor and the needy.

In most churches, the offering is used partially to support the church staff and keep the building running.

Every dollar donated at the Waterfront Community Church goes toward helping people in need.

How is that possible?

Well, the Church has made a few sacrifices; the most notable being the forgoing of a beautiful sanctuary.

Waterfront rents the high school for mass each week, and the worship band practices for free at a neighbor's house.

Just four months in, the church has payed for everything from car repairs to a neighbor's brain surgery.

The good news is, other churches are interested in imitating this revolutionary small church who is getting back to the basics.
