APD: Domestic Fight

On Wednesday, at about 9:25 P.M., Officer Shoemaker responded to a disturbance call in the 3300 block of Sherry Lane. Officer Shoemaker contacted the victim who stated her ex-boyfriend, a 31 year old black male, had assaulted her during an argument. The victim sustained scrapes to her back and a bruised finger. A report was worked for Assault/Family Violence and the investigation continues. Later, at about 12:30 this morning, Officer Brown responded to a disturbance call in the 1100 block of Poplar. Officer Brown contacted a 41 year old white female who was instigating the disturbance. The subject was intoxicated and was arrested for Public Intoxication.
