The 2009 West Texas Walk Now for Autism
takes place at the Abilene Zoo next Saturday, April 4.Similar walks around the country are Autism Speaks' main means of fund raising. The organization seeks to increase awareness, determine the causes, and discover treatments for the disease.
This is the first Walk Now for Autism taking place in West Texas. A satellite walk in San Angelo will take place at the same time as the event at the Abilene Zoo.
