Grandmother's Pit Bulls Kill Baby

Two pit bulls killed their owner's 7-month-old grandson in San Antonio today.

Police say the woman left the child alone to go get his bottle.  When she returned moments later, she found her dogs mauling the baby.  Police say the dogs attacked the woman after she got them off the little boy.

The baby later died at University hospital.

The grandmother has been admitted to the hospital and is expected to recover.

Police shot and killed the dogs.
