By: Alisa Hail
Updated: April 1, 2009
Two new ocelot kittens were born at the Abilene Zoo on February 25th to proud ocelot parents Hot Rod and Ellie.

The kittens names are brother and sister, Clutch and Jade.

As a means of spreading the important message of conservation, as well as making kids aware of the struggle of the ocelots and other exotic animals, the zoo will soon launch the Cat Ambassador program.

Jade and Clutch will play an important role in the midst of the new program.
