Two new cats took their first steps outside of their cage Wednesday at the Abilene Zoo.

Clutch and Jade, two ocelots, were born on February 25th and are being nurtured by zoo personnel. Yesterday, they were finally ready to roam their new home.

The felines parents, Hot Rod and Ellie, have lived in the Abilene Zoo and they will be an upcoming exhibit sometime this year.

The two new cubs won't live in an exhibit, but they will still appear at special events. Clutch and Jade will primarily be used for educational purposes.
