Breaking: Several Shot in NY Hostage Standoff

 A hostage situation is unfolding in Binghamton, New York.

Police say A gunman entered an immigration services center in downtown Binghamton Friday morning armed with a high power rifle.

According to media reports the gunman shot at least four people and took as many as 41 hostage inside the America Civic Association.

City and state officials tell NBC news a large number of people have been shot.

A police swat team is on the scene and are looking for the suspect.
