In January of 2007, 4 year old Janie De La Paz was killed, when three men drove by and put more than 20 bullets into her home.
Janie was struck by a bullet and killed.
Now her family is asking for your help in passing a Bill to honor Janie's memory and hand out harsher punishments for those involved in drive by shootings.
This bill would make drive by shootings a 1st degree Felony with a sentence of 5 to 99 years in prison.
All you have to do is write to your representatives saying you want Bill 176 to be imposed into a law to protect our children.
