APD: Don't Try to Run

 At 6:00 last night, Officer Phillips was called to the 5200 block of Encino. The reporting party stated that a 25 year old white male made her believe that he was going to run over her with his car by lunging it toward her during a repossession. The vehicle did strike her on the legs but did not cause an injury. The subject fled the scene before police could arrive. At 7:00 Officer Phillips located the subject in the 1900 block of Denton. He was contacted regarding the incident and was found to have an outstanding warrant. He was arrested for evading and the warrant.

Then at 10:00 last night, Office Guitar was called to the 800 block of Meander. A 32 year old white male was being detained for a disturbance and public intoxication. He ran from the police and was caught trying to climb over a fence. He was arrested for evading and public intoxication then transported to the Taylor County Jail.
