A TV station in upstate New York reports Jiverly Wong, the gunman in the Binghamton shootings, sent a letter to the station, laying out his reasons for planning the rampage.
Police now have taken the letter as evidence.
It is dated March 18th, and reportedly includes photos of Wong and his identification.
Dated two weeks before he went on his deadly rampage but post marked April 3rd, the day of the shooting
Also included, pictures of Wong, shown with two guns, and a New York state drivers license.
The writer claims to be the Binghamton shooter and blames unnamed police for his rampage, saying he was taunted by police, both in New York and California for years.
The letter begins: "I am Jiverly Wong shooting the people"...and ends with the words..."cop bring about this shooting. Cop must responsible. And you have a nice day."
Authorities are analyzing the contents trying to verify if Wong is the writer.
Experts say the rambling, angry two-page letter may offer possible insight to Wongs mental stability and what drove him to storm the American Civic Association, killing 13 people and then himself.
On Tuesdays Today Show, Wongs sister says the pictures are of her brother, but she doesnt believe he could have written this letter.
She says the handwriting is too neat and contains words too advanced for his vocabulary.
In the letter Wong reportedly apologizes only for "knowing little English"
Wongs sister says her familys heart and prayers go out to the victims.
