ACU Offers Study in Germany

By: Alisa Hail
Updated: April 8, 2009
Abilene Christian University students will soon have the unique opportunity to study in Germany in addition to the current programs offered in Oxford, England and Montevideo, Uruguay.

Students will travel to and stay in the German city of Leipzig, located in the state of Saxony as a part of a three year test program.

Leipzig, also known as the "City of Music," has a rich history as the home of Bach, and served as a central hub for Germany's 18th Century Age of Enlightenment.

In addition to this, students will have the opportunity to travel to the historic cities of Berlin, Dresden, Wittenberg, Prague, Vienna, Salzburg, Budapest and St. Petersburg.

ACU believes that international study is a catalyst toward a wider world outlook for the students as well as a chance to transform their minds and hearts.
