Vandals took on some businesses over night.

If you were driving down Treadaway today you might have noticed some new words on local businesses.

The word "cove" or some say the word "love" was tagged over night on Treadaway between South 11th and South 14th.

The vandals even decided to mark their spot on our building here at KRBC.

But, a business on Treadaway says they aren't too concerned and will be cleaning the paint off soon.

The Abilene Police Department says they are investigating the vandalism.

If you do find that your business was vandalized, don't paint over or try to clean it up until after a patrol officer has come out and seen it.

If you have any information, please call Crime Stoppers at 676- TIPS.
