 UPDATE: Thursday, 6:30 p.m.
An Anson student was killed and three other teens injured in a single car crash late Wednesday night.  The wreck occurred about 8:45 p.m. on Highway 83 just south of Anson.

Authorities say 16-year-old Justin Gonzales was killed.  17-year-old Victor Hirst was rushed to Hendrick with broken bones.  Justin Rhoden, 17, suffered a head injury.  Victor and Justin have been released.  19-year-old Jessica Garcia also suffered a head injury and remains at Hendrick in fair condition.

Deputies say Gonzales, who didn't have a license, was likely speeding in a 2009 Toyota Scion when he spun out of control and wreck.  Investigators say the car rolled several times.  All four occupants were ejected from the vehicle during the wreck.  No one inside the car was wearing a seatbelt.

Students at Anson High School are donating some of the money raised for prom to help with funeral costs.  The funeral is scheduled for Saturday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the Anson High School Auditorium.
