APD: 14 Year Old Fires Gun

 At 4:30 yesterday afternoon, Officer Gates was called to the 1500 block of Swenson. The reporting party stated that a 14 year old Hispanic male had fired a handgun in their direction. The suspect was arrested for deadly conduct.

Then at approximately 2:00 this morning, Officer Perez was called to the 700 block of Grape Street for a fight call. As he approached the group in his marked patrol car, the group scattered and ran into the west alley of the 1400 block Shelton. A 16 year old Hispanic female was caught and arrested for evading detention. She was taken to Hendricks Medical Center where she was treated for ingestion of illegal drugs. She was later release to her mother. A 20 year old Hispanic male that was also involved in the fight was found on the front porch of a residence in the 1400 block of Green Street, where he did not belong. He was arrested for evading detention and transported to the Taylor County Jail.
