Five Points Business Park Expands

By: Laura Kellerman
Updated: April 16, 2009
Abilene's Five Points Business Park is outgrowing itself.  The Development Corporation of Abilene board voted to spend $71,000 for a 5.5 acre vacant lot adjacent to the park.

With Tower Tech coming in and a new spec building going up, the park needs more space.

The DCOA also committed to moving forward with a $2 million assistance package for Coca-Cola, said to be saving 200 local jobs.  The soft drink maker is planning a $5 million upgrade to its Abilene plant.
