Threatening Notes Found Around SFA

On the second anniversary of the Virginia Tech shootings, campus police at Stephen F. Austin University are spearheading the investigation into several threatening notes found in and around that campus.
One note found on campus stated that "a shooting would occur today and students will die."
Classes are continuing while extra police patrol the campus. Assisting with the investigation are the Nacogdoches Sheriff's Office, DPS, the Texas Rangers and the FBI.
Faculty and students at Virginia Tech University have a somber day of remembrance today. Seung-Hui Cho gunned down 32 students and faculty on the Blacksburg, Virginia, campus on this day in 2007. Cho wounded many others before taking his own life.
A portion of the classroom building where the shootings occurred was reopened as a Center for Peace Studies and Violence Prevention earlier this month.
