Do you think you can outrun Abilene's Mayor, Norm Archibald?  Citizens will have the chance on Saturday, April 18th during the annual Mayor’s Round-Up 5K Run/Walk/Wheel.

Late registrations can still be made on race day at 7:30 a.m.  The fees for late registration are $23 for adults and $15 for children 18 and under.

This year's events will include a Wheelchair race and a Fun Run for kids.  The 5K Wheelchair Division kicks off the race at 8:25 a.m., followed by the chip timed 5K Run/Walk at 8:30 a.m., and the 1-Mile Family Fun Run at 8:35 a.m.

The top male and female runner will be sent to Austin to attend the Governors Texas Round-up on April 25.
