APD: Men Beating Women

On Monday, at about 11:35 P.M., Officer Richardson responded to a disturbance call in the 3100 block of Barrow. Officer  Richardson contacted the victim who stated her boyfriend, a 22 year old white male, had assaulted her during an argument. The victim sustained a sore back during the incident. A report was worked for Assault/Family Violence and the investigation continues.

This morning, at about 3:36, Officer Cox responded to a disturbance call in the 800 block of Mesquite. Officer Cox contacted the victim who stated her boyfriend, a 45 year old black male, had punched and choked her during an argument. The victim had scratches on her neck and legs from the incident. A report was worked for Assault/Family Violence and the investigation continues.
