Carl Wasco wins the 68th district Democratic Primary

With 93-percent of the local precincts reporting, 4th ward Rockford alderman Carl Wasco has won the 68th district Democratic primary, beating his opponent, Loves Park alderman Clint Little.  Wasco had 68-percent of the votes to Little's 32-percent.  Wasco attended the Winnebago County Democratic election party at IBEW hall in Rockford on Tuesday night, and says he couldn't have come this far without his supporters.

"I'm a little tired, it's been a lot of hard work, you get to meet a lot of people, talk to them, and it's been fun as usual.  I enjoy the campaign, I'm looking forward to representing the people of the 68th District and moving forward," said Wasco.

Wasco will face Republican John Cabello in the November election.
