Both men are attorneys but both have taken very different paths to the congressional race. Vinsko say the reshaped 11th, which no longer includes the city of Wilkes-Barre and Scranton and takes in southern counties in the Commonwealth, and created a new game plan for both candidates.
Vinsko said, "It is still about the people and I have done a listening tour in all counties and traveled hundreds of miles to meet people. This is still about people and it doesn't matter what county you live in it is still about helping worknig class families."
Stilp told Eyewitness News, "I am the strongest candidate to take on Republican Lou Barletta and I will sand on my record of being a taxpayer advocate." Stilp said he knows the entire district despite living in Fishing Creek Valley in Dauphin County. He said, "I think people know me in the northern part of the 11th as well as the southern portion."
