(WFRV) -- This year Wisconsin voters will decide whether to re-elect several members of congress.
They will also be given the task to elect a new U.S. Senator. After 24 years, Democrat Herb Kohl is retiring.
Just one lone democrat, Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin, is considering a run to replace him.
But several republicans have come forward saying they're interested. Among them, names familiar to voters like Tommy Thompson, Mark Neumann and Jeff Fitzgerald.
But there is also a political newcomer looking to make a splash. His name is Eric Hovde and he joined Local Five for a one on one interview.
