PALO DURO CANYON -- Day two of President George W. Bush's W100 bike ride is on the books.
The three day event is being held out in Palo Duro Canyon.

It features the former President and nearly two dozen wounded veterans from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

Bush was among the first to finish, but waited at the finish line for every wounded warrior to finish as well.

The President kept his remarks centered on the race, saying one of the best ways to honor all veterans is to help them find a job after returning from overseas.

19 wounded service men and women were selected to take part in the second annual W100 based on their valor during service in the war on terror and the work they do with military support groups.

The W100 is a military service initiative from the George W. Bush Presidential Center.
