Saturday night the Hal Mumme era officially got underway, but despite 31-26 loss to Trinity their was a lot to cheer for especially with the performance of McMurry Quarterback, Jake Mullin.

Mullin not only threw for almost 500 yards, and three touchdowns, but set the single game school record for passing yards and completions with 479 and 35. 

Both Mullin and Mumme excited about how the Maroon competed in Saturday's bout with Trinity, but will look to make a few more tweaks before they hit the gridiron once again this Saturday at Wilford Moore Stadium against Austin College.
