Cooper Coach Mike Spradlin Talks About Crosstown Showdown

The Cooper Cougars are 2 and oh for the 3rd year in a row after beating Boswell on Friday night. The Cougars struggled in the 1st half with turnovers, but bounced back with a big 2nd half with 28 points.
Ryan Heslep led Cooper offensively with 346 yards and 2 touchdowns and the defense forced 4 turnovers.
Cooper is now getting ready to face the Abilene High Eagles in the 49th edition of the Crosstown Showdown.
Cooper leads the series with 30 wins, 17 loses, and they tied in 1965.
Cooper and Abilene High play on Friday at 7:30.
