Texas Survives Suspensions And Injuries For Win

The Texas Longhorns helped Colt McCoy celebrate his birthday with an easy victory over Louisiana-Monroe to start the season.

The win was great but it took it's toll. The Horns lost 2 starters to injuries in the game.

They also lost 3 players when they were ruled ineligible by the NCAA before the game started.

Texas is ranked 2nd in the nation, and they hit the road for the 1st time this season. The Longhorns take on Wyoming in Laramie at 2:30 on Saturday.
