Online Petition Started Against West Fork Pit Bull Ban

By: Lisa Mendenhall
Updated: May 10, 2012
A lot of West Fork residents are opposed to the pit bull ban proposal.

In fact, someone even started a petition against it.

The online petition aims to stop breed specific legislation in general, but mentions the West Fork ban specifically.

According to the website, the author wants people to sign the virtual petition in hopes of creating awareness that any breed of dog has the potential to become an animal with undesirable traits.

The petition also claims that poor animal behavior has more to do with its upbringing than its breed.

It has 126 signatures so far.
